All are invited to attend Corinne Pierog’s official campaign launch on Sunday, March 28 at Manhattan’s American Grill, located at 300 S. Schmale Road in Carol Stream, From 4:00-7:30 p.m. A suggested donation of $35 per person or two for $60 is requested for this informal, informative gathering to support Pierog’s noteworthy bid for Illinois State Senate, 28th District.
Touted as the candidate with proven leadership and a fresh perspective, Pierog will focus her efforts on creating opportunities and jobs, enhancing education, advocating for greater transparency in government and demanding both fiscal responsibility and accountability with taxpayer dollars. Most recently, Pierog has been championing the cause of eliminating the red light cameras her opponent has supported, citing pay-to-play issues related to proposed legislation he is supporting, which would directly benefit one of his larger campaign donors
“Clearly, the people of the 28th District deserve to not only be heard, but served with responsive, ethical legislation. For lawmakers to focus on the color red light cameras are painted, when clearly the people oppose them and have far more serious issues demanding lawmakers’ attention is not serving the 28th District adequately. The people need responsive representation to meet the current challenges. Truly serving their needs would positively impact the entire state. I intend to change the status quo by creating a culture of accountability, locally and in Springfield.” affirmed Pierog.
The event festivities include complimentary hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, raffles and a cash bar will be available. Manhattan’s is a casual, toni restaurant nestled in the charming western suburb of Carol Stream.
“This event is about connecting with the people I will serve; learning their perspectives and needs first hand. They need to know there’s a better alternative to the status quo. By engaging constituents about the issues most important to them, while inviting them to actively participate in this dynamic campaign to create real change, I intend to use my leadership and skills to pave a new beginning for District 28.” explained Pierog.
Sponsorships are still available for this event. For additional information on sponsorships or to pre-order tickets, call 630 251-1538.
