{"id":903,"date":"2009-09-10T22:01:47","date_gmt":"2009-09-11T03:01:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.progressivefox.com\/?p=903"},"modified":"2018-08-16T15:52:15","modified_gmt":"2018-08-16T20:52:15","slug":"honk-for-single-payer-healthcare","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.progressivefox.com\/?p=903","title":{"rendered":"Honk for Single Payer Healthcare!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the eve of Barack Obama\u2019s healthcare speech on 9\/9\/09, residents from Illinois\u2019 14th District took to the streets to encourage the President of the United States to push for comprehensive healthcare reform, Medicare for all.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fvc4pnj.org\">Fox Valley Citizens for Peace and Justice<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/aurorapeacegroup\/\">Aurora Peace and Justice<\/a> group, about 50 people showed up from all walks of life to show their support for the expansion of Medicare to all Americans.
